MY PRELIMINARY BUSINESS PLAN

Approved Charities For Payment. No other form of payment is available. You, my customer, decides where you money goes and I will never see any of it. A copy of the Donation Receipt with the Invoice number and the signature of an official of the charity is all I will receive. No mention of Crossfire Engineering or my self can appear on the receipt. The name can be any name other that the two previous names. I know we were not to creative in school's sign in sheets when most of the people in attendance were called signed in by Mickey Mouse, Lonely Ranger and that type of name is acceptable if you wish but so is your name or your company's name.

TYPE TWO INVOICE: The TYPE TWO INVOICE is for reimbursement of any thing you project requires and authorized by your project manager prior to my purchasing it. These invoices will not be for any time. Items in this category are:

1. All travel related expenses such as mileage, per Diem, parking, plane fare (business class when available and first class if there is no business class), tolls, lodgings, etc.
2. Equipment purchased or rented (with prior written authorization from project management) required to perform any necessary task Time will be defined as any time I am doing something required by your project. This might be computer time, test equipment, car rental, cab fare, tolls, office supplies. This will be any expense required for your project that Crossfire Supplies buys. Any charge in excess of Five Dollars ($5.00) will not be charges or paid without written approval of the project manager as he will know it the required equipment is available in hos facility.
3. Purchased computer time when required for analysis and a specialized programmer if it is less expensive than my doing it.

If travel of any distance to an On Site work location is over 50 miles from my base (home) all travel expensis will be applied as stated on the Rate and Charges Page. Under 50 miles there should be no need for lodgings unless the charge for travel is more expensive than spending one night at a local hotel/motel is for TRAVEL: All costs associated with travel except travel time will be on the Type Two Travel and Supplies Invoice. Time will be placed on the Time Invoice (TYPE ONE) and only donated to an approved charity on my list, Engineering Time, Walking Time (this is because of one job the parking lot was for Engineers and hourly employees. The hourly employees got there one half hour before engineers and the walk to my desk was almost 1/2 hour.) I simply will not accept 1¢ from any customer for my services. All travel expenses related to your job (travel time excluded) Will be itemized therein. It will also include computer time when needed for your project. No computer time is expected and will be pre-approved by you before used. This invoice will be paid to Crossfire Engineering as it was paid for by me out of petty cash and I hate to travel! Any required super computer time will be billed on the type one invoice. In Summation: all type one invoices MUST BE PAID BY DONATION to a charity ON MY APPROVED LIST. Your donation to a charity not on my list will be your donation and not qualified as payment for my invoice. ALL TYPE TWO INVOICES MUST BE REIMBURSED TO CROSSFIRE ENGINEERING OR MYSELF as these charges were paid for by me.

RESTATEMENT OF THE RULES

1.   ALTERNATE CHARITIES SUGGESTIONS
   You may want to submit a suggestion for a different charity than those on the approved list. You may make the ssuggestion by face to face voicecommunication, telephone or in paper format. Your suggestion DOES NOT make it an approved charity for which I will work for donations to its cause. The only charities where a donation for the any amount of the TYPE ONE INVOICE will be counted as acceptable. for my working for it will be for my purpose that it must be physically or digitally on my list is to be listed on the Approved Charities For Payment. If it becomes approved the acceptance of your suggestion will be a YES. My answer will be final and no discussion of the matter will take place. As soon as it appears on the website in the approved column any money donated to them wil count as a portion or full payment of a TYPE ONE Invoive.
2.   FIRST WEEK SEE IF WE LIKE IT
   I will work on your project for one week to see if I can assist you or not. If I find that I cannot my time will be free. Within that week you may terminate and not br charged for my time. I do not want to burden you with fancy rules so a phone call will be OK and you do not have to explain why I am to stop. In that first week I will also have the right to say the job is boring and terminated the work with no charge for the time spent in that first week.
3.   PAYMENTS
   
   1. Payment for a TYPE ONE (for time) invoices is payed by my recieving a copy or original of the a receipt of your donation of the invoice amount to one of the charities on my list and no other Charities will be considered as or for payment. This receipt must be on or a readable copy on the letterhead of the charity and showing the signature of the Charities' treasurer attesting that the amount was a donation to the charity given to the charity. by an oficial of that charity. You will plave the invoice number on the receipt before or after it is given to you as long as my on the invoice is correct or company is not listed, or transmitted in any way to the charity of other method. Before the receipt is sent to me you must right the Invoics Number on the receipt so it can be traced to what invoice is being paid.
   2. Upon receipt of proof of payment og the donation I will issure an invoive for The Time on my Letterhead to you marked paid for your IRS and other tax deductions for business expences. The charity deduction receipt cannot be wortrh mre thant the 20% of prophet number it it has not changesd so you will need the nvoice for ewngineering time.
   3. Payment is due in For TYPE TWO Invoices in 30 days of Invoice Received. Late payments will be increased by 1% per month for a late fee.It will be paid by by any normal payment method of check or bank transfer.method After I receive a signed and dated copy of the receipt of the donation in the amount of the invoice you received you will receive a receipt for payment in full for that invoice marked as paid for you to make a tax deduction. The donation is not tax deductible as it is a IRS deductible engineering fee payment. Please mark the invoice number on the deduction receipt so we can decide which one you have paid. An Invoice marked paid in with the same invoice number will be returned to you made out for the time being charged. It will state the amount was paid in full. This will be a tax deductible invoice.
   4. I will do the digital designs but for efficiency if analog, mechanical,thermal or stress analysis and design is required I recommend for cost and time effective work I will recommend you hire one to do the design work. It will speed up the completion time of the project. I have done it before but half the time I would take would be remembering what their rules are.

   That is my Franciscan plan for charging. My rates for boring work are listed on my Rates & Charges Page. The actual charges will be listed on the contract and in most cases for the real interesting challenging work the rates will be lower by ten to 30 percent. I cannot improve on it at all.
